Operator Prechoice

It is possible to make operator prechoice both for national and international calls. Dialling *15*2*10988#, you will automatically direct your national calls through CSC Telecom. Dialling *15*1*10988#, you will direct your international calls through CSC Telecom. In the future you will not have to dial the operator code before dialling the needed number again.

The Operator Prechoice service enables the client to direct his/her telephone calls through the service provider, whose services the client wishes to use without dialling the operator code.

The client does not have to use this service, which means that he/she can dial the operator code manually before dialling the number needed. While using the Operator Prechoice service, you can still use the services of other telecommunications services providers.

If you want to use the telephone communications services both through Operator Prechoice service and manual operator code dialling, you will have to sign a corresponding agreement with your telecommunications services provider.

The Operator Prechoice service is available only for the Elion central station subscribers

The operator for national and international calls can be prechosen separately.

In case if you have activated the Operator Prechoice service, you can dial the number in the following way: number, or 00 + number. After that the call willl be forwarded through the station of your telecommunications service provider.

Using and activating the Operator Prechoice service

Since 1 December 2003, the Operator Prechoice service can be activated in the phone by the subscriber himself/herself. The Operator Prechoice service is very similar to other additional services (e.g. call forwarding service). Using certain key combinations, it can be easily activated and deactivated. It is not necessary to choose this service separately, since it is available for the subscribers in the phone itself.

The operator for national and international calls can be prechosen separately. It is possible to choose one or several operators. It is not necessary to choose an operator for all types of calls. The activation of this service is free.

International calls

• Service activation: *15*1*10988#
• Service deactivation: #15*1#
• Information concerning the activation of the service (whether it is activated or not): *#15*1#

National calls

• Service activation: *15*2*10988#
• Service deactivation: #15*2#
• Information concerning the activation of the service (whether it is activated or not): *#15*2#

1 – means international call

2 – means national call

10988 means CSC Telecom operator code.

The answer phone machine will notify whether the service is activated or not.

All subscribers can activate this service in their phones. For technical reasons, you will not be able to activate this service himself/herself if:

• you use a rotary-dial telephone;
• you use a FIX GSM telephone;
• you are in Lasnamäe district and your telephone number starts with numbers ranging from 632 …. to 634 ….;
• you use the intermediate call station.

Intermediate call station users can order the Operator Prechoice service from the person/organisation maintaning their intermediate call station.

If for some technical reasons you can not activate the Operator Prechoice service, you can order it from the Elion service department.
